PUPILS and staff at Gorse Hall Primary School, Stalybridge helped to raise more than £300 for the Healthy Young Minds charity after organising a Yellow Day for Mental Health Day.
They dressed in the bright colur to highlight the issues of mental health in youngsters and created speech bubbles with messages about health.
Pupils and staff also provided acts of kindness during the day.
The school let off yellow balloons in the playground to encourage children to speak out about their mental health issues.
There were a number of class-based activities focused on mental health, such as mindfulness, information and the year six class who did yoga.
A total of £327.13 was raised, a fantastic achievement to all who participated. The charity aims to encourage young children to speak out about their worries in future.
