Stalybridge man charged after £5million drugs bust

A Stalybridge man was among four men to be charged after the North West Regional Crime Unit (Titan) and Cleveland Police’s Serious and Organised Crime Team investigated the supplying of millions of pounds worth of drugs into Middlesbrough.

Theo Henry, 30, of Knowl Street, Stalybridge, and Marcus Callaghan, 33, of Newcastle Street, Hulme, have both been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A and Class B drugs.

Thomas Jaffray, 34, of The Greenway, Middlesbrough, and Steven Sewell ,37, of Colemore Avenue, Middlesbrough, have both been charged with the conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.

They will all appear at Manchester City Magistrates Courts today, Tuesday 6 February.

During the investigation 45kg of cocaine, 20kg of cannabis and 20kg of amphetamine with a street value estimated to exceed £5million were confiscated. Over £600,000 in cash was also seized during the operation.
