To celebrate the tie-up, Stalybridge players recently held a curry night at Candolim, which will now become a regular occurrence throughout the year.
First- team captain Jamie Brownhill said: “We would very much like to thank Bash, Bill and the staff at Candolim for their kind sponsorship of our shirts.
“We held our end-of-year celebration at Candolim last year, and it was a great night so we very much hoped we could link-up.
“Help like this from local businesses is vital for our club and we couldn’t be more grateful.”
Candolim owner Bash Alam added: “We are very happy to be able to support a local cricket team.
“Some of the lads have become regulars since we agreed the deal and we hope to get up to watch a few of the games. Eat well, play well!”
