Be part of new 100 Club to help look after Stalybridge town centre

STALYBRIDGE Town Team has formed the 100 Club as they continue their hard work to look after the area.

Ray Harrison, chair of Stalybridge Town Team, said: “We are constantly trying to improve the town centre to help make it a prettier place to shop, work and live.

“We rely on donations to be able to do this. The 100 Club is £12 per year to join with £200 cash prizes, £80 Tesco’s vouchers and £80 Candolim Indian restaurant vouchers.

“It is all community spirt based and any surplus proceeds goes back into the town centre, which helps to pay for the bulbs and bedding plants.

“We have just installed new hardwood planters in Armentieres Square for everyone to enjoy – so for just £12 per year you would be joining the new inspired project in the town centre.”

The lucky winners of the first prize draw of the new STT 100 Club were Chris Tyler and Ian Matthews.

Stalybridge Town Team is a voluntary, non-political group and should not be confused with the new political party ‘Stalybridge Town Party’.

Your help and support are always required. Why not meet for a monthly litter picking sessions with the volunteers?

Or STT is also looking for volunteers who can help carry out painting, garden maintenance and general work in the town centre or you could be part of Stalybridge Town Team itself.
