LOCAL artist Diana Terry has created limited-edition prints of the moorland fires.
And she is giving 10 per-cent of the sales to Oldham Mountain Rescue she says, “for all the work they’ve done to protect us”.
Diana, whose studio is at Woodend Mill, Mossley, has produced five images and only five prints will be made from each.
“They are of local places and show the devastation of the fires. I have been to the edge of the moors to do sketches and the more adventurous have been up there and sent me photographs they have taken,” explained Diggle-based Diana.
The prints will be sold at the Saul Hay Gallery, Manchester, and also from Diana’s studio.
