PATIENTS from Lockside Medical Centre were given a different insight into the work of the practice.
It came at an ‘Urgent Medical Care Wellbeing Event’ on Saturday, July 14.
They were instructed how to use a defibrillator and recognise a stroke with Dr Richard Bircher acting as the patient.
Dr Joanna Bircher gave a talk on sepsis while there were also presentations from Tameside, Oldham and Glossop MIND and the Deaf Society.
Men in Sheds, a social club for men wanting to make new friends, were also represented at the event.
