Crime novel spectacular at Tameside libraries in November

IF YOU love reading crime novels, then Tameside Libraries are the place to be during November including Mossley, Stalybridge and Dukinfield.

Some top authors will be discussing their work as well as psychologist Dr David A Holmes and crime fiction reviewer Dr Jennifer Palmer.

November brings a crime novel spectacular at Tameside libraries

On Tuesday, November 6, Droylsden born Patricia Dixon, author of ‘Over My Shoulder’ and ‘They Don’t Know,’ will be at Stalybridge Library (1.30-3pm) on Trinity Street to talk about what goes into excellent crime writing.

A week later at Dukinfield Library, Concord Way (6.30-7.30pm) Dr Holmes provides a glimpse into true evil and the rare individuals who live there.

A body in the library has become a cliché but violence occurring in such a quiet place feels wrong. Reviewer Dr Jennifer Palmer explains how the cliché developed at Mossley Library, George Lawton Hall (11am-12.15pm).

To book a place at any of the talks, call 0161 342 2031, pop in at the relevant library or go online: www.tamesidelibraries.eventbrite.co.uk
