£500 boost for Tameside East Foodbank thanks to Labour Club comedy night

TAMESIDE East Foodbank has received £500 from New Stalybridge Labour Club.

It was proceeds of a comedy night that proved a barrel of laughs.

Comedian Nina Gilligan co-ordinated the booking of the acts and she presented the cheque to Trisha Jarman from Tameside East Foodbank.

New Stalybridge Labour Club also hosted a concert for Stalybridge Old Band that raised more than £300 towards the band’s running costs.
