It has been organised by reserve-team manager Dany Jean-Yves and is for teams from U7 to U12 with Manchester City legend Shaun Goater making the presentation.

GiG Movement was created by Dany and is a non-profit organisation that has two specific goals.

It mentors young players who have been released by professional clubs and also provides assistance to children in the African country of Rwanda by paying for healthcare, food and education.

Dany pays an annual visit to Rwanda and Manchester United player Andreas Pereira, currently on loan at top Spanish club Valencia donates boots each year for the trip while Newcastle United’s Christian Atsu also offers support.

Dany is also hoping to enlist the backing of Reds’ player Paul Pogba having recently met him.

Proceeds of the tournament at Bower Fold, which is between 9am-2pm, will go to GIG Movement’s charitable causes.

To enter a team, contact Dany on 07583 518693 or on his email
