Musical magic at Wild Bank due to legacy

PUPILS at Wild Bank Community School, Stalybridge, got into the Christmas spirit thanks to a legacy left to the town by former resident Mabel Wilson.

The £300 they received was spent on bringing in theatre company West End in School who staged a musical Scroogical.

Bursar Nichola Bardsley explained the school have brought theatre production companies for a number of years so children can experience a live show.

“We try to give pupils as many opportunities as possible and value live theatre which is part of our ethos of life experiences,” she said.
