PRIORY hosted a new event in their tennis calendar which was won by club chairman Nick Holmes.
Eleven players from six clubs in Greater Manchester took part in the Priory Invitation Men’s Open Singles Tournament.
All the competitors played in a round robin where every match consisted of two short sets.
The top two players in each group played in the semi-finals which involved Ed Seville and Jonno Seville (both Priory) and Holmes and Colin Barrett (Rose Hill Tennis Club).
It was followed by an exciting final between Priory members Holmes and Seville with Holmes winning 6-4, 6-3.
The tournament was organised by first team ladies’ captain Chris Lolley.
