WITH pregnancy being one of the most special times in an expectant parent’s life, many opt to make the journey even more special by having additional scans outside of the NHS.
As technology advances, 4D ultrasound scans are becoming ever more popular, and this is something owners of Stalybridge’s only dedicated pregnancy scanning clinic know all too well.
Olivia and Simon Megram had a number of additional private scans during their last pregnancy, which led them to explore setting up their own clinic. After months of research they decided a Hey Baby 4D Franchise best fitted their vision.
This private ultrasound clinic offers services complementary to those offered on the NHS, with early reassurance scans, gender/sex confirmation, wellbeing and 4D scans to choose from. The latter, an immersive experience offering an incredible insight into what a baby will look like when they arrive.
Hey Baby 4D Stalybridge has been built with family in mind, which is why the clinic features a dedicated children’s play area as well as being accessible for both prams and wheelchair users.
Knowing that family are so important to mothers and fathers-to-be, Olivia and Simon invested heavily in the scanning room’s design so loved ones could be invited to share in the experience.
With gender reveal parties on the rise, the scanning room also includes special lighting to turn the room blue or pink once the gender is known. It is little touches like this that have shaped the clinic’s design.
Olivia Megram, Registered Manager of Hey Baby 4D Stalybridge explains:
“We wanted to create a loving and comfortable place for mums and dads-to-be to enjoy what can be an amazing part of their pregnancy.
“Our experiences have taught us that these moments are incredibly special and will form treasured memories to last a lifetime. Our state-of-the-art scanner was carefully selected to provide prints and videos of the highest quality using the latest in ultrasound technology.
“Our appointments are designed with the pregnant lady in mind and having experienced this myself, I know giving mother and baby time to bond is so important, which is why we will never rush anyone’s appointment.”
Alongside the fun, family experience, as you’d expect the clinic is regulated by the Care Quality Commission, who gave the go-ahead to open in September 2019.
Hey Baby 4D Stalybridge will open its doors to its first parents-to-be and their bumps on Saturday 19 October 2019. There will be a launch event on Saturday 12 October from 12pm – 2pm, which will be hosted at the Castle Street clinic in conjunction with local family photographer Ex-pose. The event is open to anyone interested in the services the clinic offers, with over £500s worth of prizes to be won! And of course, no opening event would be complete without a slice of cake and balloons!
