POLITICIANS may be battling for votes in the forthcoming general election, but in Stalybridge they have again put their difference aside.Labour and Conservative councillors have joined forces to organise the annual pensioners’ party which is paid for from ward funds.
However, the date had been brought forward by 48 hours after it was scheduled for general election day.
The new date is Tuesday, December 10 at The New Stalybridge Labour Club, between noon and 4pm.
