PEOPLE living in areas of Stalybridge plagued by litter have done their bit by taking part in clean-ups.
Members of the public were asked to put in some had work alongside local councillor Doreen Dickinson after Tameside Council organised two sessions.
And several turned out to tidy up patches around Lindsay Street and Croft Street on Friday, November 1.
Now they look a lot better than they did before – and the hope is they stay that way.
Warren Turner, Neighbourhood Engagement Officer at Tameside Council, said: “I wish to thank everyone who was able to support the clean-up, including residents who appreciated our efforts.
“It was a tremendous successful morning.”
