Funds boost for £1million CT scanner appeal

MEDICAL records staff at Tameside Hospital have raised more than £725 towards its £1 million CT scanner appeal. They made up three giant hampers from donated food, alcohol and scented gifts with supervisors Sherrilee Jones and Karen Pendlebury selling raffle tickets throughout the hospital. That raised £352.40.

Freda Brereton, Simon Wood, Michelle Cassin, Jenny Willocks and Matthew Adam donated their Kevin and Katie Carrott with their family also to raffle off which are very popular.Freda queued outside Aldi at 7am to make sure she got her hands on the Carrots. This raised £380.

All staff in medical records got into the Christmas spirit by donating to the scanner appeal.
